Are the deadlines flexible?

No. You must meet the deadlines specified. No exceptions.

Can I submit more than one piece of work?

No. Only one submission per entrant per year is possible.

Can I challenge the results?

No. All results are final

Will the competition be open to non-broadcast proposals?

The Trust’s aim, if enough donations are forthcoming in the future, is to add additional categories to the competition.

Will the competition be open to people outside the UK?

The Trust may consider this for future competitions but at present, entrants must be resident in the UK.

Why do I need a broadcast credit to enter?

We are a small charity set up with a very clear purpose. If/when we can grow to cope with an entirely ‘open door’ competition, we’ll consider it. We hope our rules are fair, reasonable and broad enough to include many writers at the start of their careers, but who were not yet making a living from writing.

Evidence of my broadcast credit is not available online; can I still enter?

Yes. If your broadcast credit is no longer available online, but its transmission is within the stated dates, please supply written evidence of your work's broadcast along with your entry. You could, for instance include a .pdf scan of a dated contract. You may redact payment rates, if you prefer, but make sure it identifies you and the TX date.
